Chief Executive Officer

Annie Malone Board Taps Veteran Human Services Executive to Lead Agency

Sara Lahman, formerly an Assistant Vice President of Residential Treatment Services with Great Circle, has been named Chief Executive Officer for Annie Malone Children and Family Services. She began her duties with the agency on January 16, 2018.

“Sara is an extremely talented human service professional with deep experience in the delivery of clinical services, strategic planning and development, human resources and quality assurance,” said Board president Cozy Marks III. “She clearly understands our community, the families we serve and the rich history of Annie Malone.”

Lahman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has her MSW in Social Work. In her most recent role with Great Circle, Lahman was responsible for the management of the residential and IOP/PHP programs in the Eastern Region of the state. She also served as Director of Residential Treatment Services for Great Circle at their St. James facility. She was responsible for oversight of two residential programs ( a 93-bed program and a 30-bed program), a 12-bed transitional living program and a Scatter Sites program.

Joseph Anderson, Annie Malone Chief Financial Officer, has been serving as interim CEO; he will return to his position as CFO and assist with Lahman’s transition. The agency, celebrating 130 years this year, is planning a public event to introduce the new CEO.
